Five Battery Practices?
All 5 are misconceptions. I have 3 laptops and have simply plugged them in when a receptacle is handy, used them in every condition you could think of. Doesnt matter how low or how charged they are. My oldest laptop is now 6 years old, still charges and although doesnt hold a charge like it did when it was new is still fully capable of running 2 hours on a charge. I have one that is 3 years old, runs just as it did when I bought it new, same treatment. My newest laptop I have only had for six months but no problems. If a cell in a battery is gonna go bad, its gonna go bad no matter what. NOTHING short of a dead short is going to destroy a battery unless it was some 3rd rate junk to begin with. Turning a laptop off has NO effect on the charging cycle either! Who ever told you that is a .
