How would you feel about your partner away for a couple weeks @ a time?

Tell her to build her confidence and independence up. The way the economy is going right now, you need that job. While you are gone reure her every step of the way. She sounds insecure and needy. On the other hand I sympathize with her raising an 8 mos. old alone. I'm raising a 7 mos. old almost alone. My boyfriend works all day and then coaches until about 7 pm. When he gets home our baby is asleep for the night.
