Has anyone tried these pacifiers? Are there any times when pacifiers have been unsafe?

i know you are always supposed to pull on the paci part when you wash them to make sure they are safe. its been a while but i know i had to throw some out after a while because they had a little crack on the side but i never used the nuby brand. the silicone i think just breaks down after awhile. maybe wherever she was before they didnt check it or maybe it was just a bad one?
