Tire pressure on my Yamaha blaster 200?

With winter around the corner I want to do some fun with my yamaha blaster 200 in the snow. But i was wondering if i had to change the pressure of my tires for them to have more grip or anything. Is lower pressure better for more grip or not? tell me what you think and why, thanks.
