How do you Bible experts explain this....?
First, Catholics, in company with most other Christians today, do not believe in the Rapture. The Rapture is a relatively new theological idea which comes out of a puritan streak of evangelical theology. However, in defense of the outnumbered evangelicals I, as a Catholic, should submit to you that such a question is in principle silly. The term 'Rapture' describes a theological concept which some believe can be previewed in the scriptures. The same can be said for Trinity, for instance, which is a word originally of Latin origin - yet the word is alien to the Scriptures. The term is the title for a doctrine which many Christians believe to be Scriptural. Obviously I have serious theological problems with the very modern idea of the rapture which only a relatively small portion of Christians actually believe in, but putting those problems aside - the question itself is the kind of question which should be recognized to be merely rhetorical.
