Is it ok to soak a sickly dog with oil to kill the FLEAS she contracted?

Give her a bath in regular dog shampoo or baby shampoo. Lather very well. Allow the lather to remain on the dog for 5-10 minutes. Rinse. Lather very well again. Wait another 5-10 minutes. Rinse, rinse, rinse. The lather will smother the fleas. You will rinse dead fleas down the drain.
